LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
The most degree programs at Moldova State University are offered in Romanian and Russian languages. Some of the programs could be offered in English as well. The applicant should have at least the level of knowledge B1/B2 according to CEFR.
If the applicant does not speak one of these languages, then he/she is advised to take Romanian or Russian language year-long courses.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Foreign applicants who want to apply for admission at Moldova State University have to send their application files (colour scanned copies) to the Department of International Relations (lilia2394@mail.ru) before July 1.
The application file must contain the following documents (authorized translations into Romanian, Russian or English):
♦ Bachelor level
- Application form (download ENG, RU)
- Passport, valid at least one year on the date of application.
- High School Graduation Certificate and Transcript of records (with apostille).
- Certificate issued by the home country Ministry of Education certifying:
- the authenticity of the High School Graduation Certificate;
- the study period that preceded the issue of the Certificate;
- the academic value of the Certificate (the right of the holder to be enrolled in the higher education level);
- the description of the marking scale.
- Criminal records certificate / Police clearance. Important! A compulsory condition: the validity of the criminal record must not be expired at time of entry. Otherwise you will need a new one.
- Medical certificate (international standard).
- Health Insurance
- Bank account Certificate on availability of the amount necessary for tuition fee, health insurance, accommodation and subsistence.
- Official International Language Certificate or Language Certificate issued by the Minister of Education confirming the level of knowledge of the Romanian / Russian language.
The student must cover full Tuition fee, accommodation fee and other charges for chosen program at the university, otherwise he/she will be exmatriculated. The student must have also some extra money for personal expands.
Upon arrival in Moldova, the accepted candidate should visit the Department of International Relations of Moldova State University for registration. In order to get enrolled, he/she must submit the original application documents and their translated copies.
Pay attention! A student is not officially registered at Moldova State University until he/she is financially cleared by the Financial Office.
There are no entrance examinations. Start date of classes is September, 1.
Master level
1. Application form (download ENG, RU)
2. Passport, valid at least one year on the date of application.
3. Bachelor’s Degree Diploma and Transcript of records (with apostille).
4. Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of the home country certifying:
- the authenticity of the Bachelor’s Degree Diploma;
- the study period that preceded the issue of the Diploma;
- the academic value of the Diploma (the right of the holder to be enrolled in the Master degree level);
- the description of the marking scale.
5. Criminal Records Certificate / Police clearance. Important! A compulsory condition: the validity of the criminal record must not be expired at time of entry. Otherwise you will need a new one.
6. Medical certificate (international standard).

Doctoral (PhD) Studies
The enrollment in a Doctoral Programme is possible after passing entry examinations started at 1st of October each year.
The application file must contain the following documents (authorized translations into Romanian, Russian or English):

- Passport, valid at least one year on the date of application.
- Criminal Records Certificate / Police clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree Diploma and Transcript of records (with apostille).
- Master’s Degree Diploma and Transcript of records (with apostille).
- Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of the home country certifying (for each Diploma):
- the authenticity of Diploma;
- the study period that preceded the issue of the Diploma;
- the academic value of the Diploma;
- the description of the marking scale.
- Health insurance.
- Official International Language Certificate or Language Certificate issued by the Minister of Education confirming the level of knowledge of the Romanian / Russian language.

- Curriculum Vitae.
- List of scientific publications.
- Two recommendation letters from university or research staff members.

ACCOMMODATION
International students can be accommodated in the University dormitories or can rent an apartment in the city.
Note. The number of places in the University dormitories is limited.
Accommodation fee in the University dormitories is about 40 Euros/month.
