Foreign candidates who want to apply for admission at Moldova State University have to send their application files (colour scanned copies) to the Service for International Relations (international@usm.mdbefore August  1st .

The application dossier must contain the following documents (authorized translations into Romanian, Russian or English):

  • Application form
  • Copy of the national identity document (national passport) valid for not less than one year from entry date on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. If dual citizenship, copies of both passports.
  • Сopy of the marriage certificate and itsnotarized translation în into Romanian, Russian or English.
  • Copy of certificate of proficiency in the required language of studies(if applicable).
  • Сopy of a high-school diploma or its equivalent translated into Romanian, English or Russian, notarized and legalized in the manner established by the authorities of the country (Apostille – for member-states of the Hague Convention, for other countries – stamp of the Foreign Ministry of that country, with further legalization in the General Consular Directorate of the Republic of Moldova).

These documents must be translated into Romanian, Russian or English and must be notarized in the manner established by the legal authorities of that country.

  • Declaration of own responsibility for the accuracy of the documents submitted.
  • 4 photos 3 x 4 cm and 4 photos 4 x 5 cm for.

Copies of documents shall be submitted personally, by authorized persons or by e-mail to the International Student Service (international@usm.md).

The accepted candidate, upon arrival in Moldova,beside the above mentioned documents should bring also the following documents:

  • Criminal records certificate / Police clearance issued by the state of residency with Apostil. The criminal records must be valid for not less than 3 months from entry date on the territory of the Republic of Moldova
  • Bank account Certificate on availability of the amount necessary for tuition fee, health insurance, accommodation and subsistence.

These documents must be translated into Romanian, Russian or English and must be notarized in the manner established by the legal authorities of that country.
